Quarantine Wanderings

As I was sitting in an extremely uncomfortable chair in quarantine and thinking all I wanted to do was have a beer and eat a bag of Fritos (can I say that without having to pay royalties?), when I decided to look back through my short and tragic career as a blogger.  Many fits and starts at different ideas and concepts.

In the hurry up, faster and faster still world we've lived in for years, it's great to get a glimpse into what life for me and my family was 10 years ago.  Like a time capsule.  It was great to read about Ireland and see Alex's wallaby scratch.  His tiny voice was so precious.

I also appreciate the fits and starts.  If I had to produce a blog every week, it would feel like a job rather than a flight of fancy.  Or, more appropriately, like those horrible tourists who are always snapping a picture and hot footing it over to the next scenic spot without really enjoying the moment.

I may be uncomfortable in my chair in this moment, but I've enjoyed many other moments with my family - including so far being quarantined.
